Ezymigrate began in 2013, after sitting down with immigration advisers who needed a CRM built for the realities of New Zealand’s immigration advisory sector. Development started in January 2014, our beta launched that July, and we went live in October 2015 — and we have been helping advisers run more efficient practices ever since.
Our mission is simple: make immigration advisory businesses more efficient, with digital tools for visa application forms, document management and case management that keep your whole team aligned.
Ezymigrate is a female-led company. Our founder isn’t an immigration adviser herself — she is an immigrant who experienced the process from the other side of the desk, and a builder who turned that frustration into technology for the advisers who do this work every day.
“I’m a rebel, a free spirit, with unstoppable exuberant energy. Service is in my blood. I do what I love, and I love what I do.”
She describes herself as a freedom fighter for authentic empowerment — a woman of consequence who works to find real problems and solve them, sometimes in unconventional ways.
As an immigrant herself, she had seen first-hand how tedious an immigration consultant’s work could be — the delays in providing documents, the repeated trips to the office, and a different team member every time.
She still remembers walking in: paperwork everywhere, forms filled out by hand, huge stacks of legal folders locked in a dark room. On one visit the receptionist took 30 minutes to find her file in a dungeon-like storage room. The whole process was inefficient, complicated and far too slow.
She saw a huge market gap — and set out to help immigration advisers run their practices more efficiently with the latest tools and technology. Ezymigrate was built to help advisers manage client files and connect teams across locations on one platform, shaped by the feedback of every new team that joins.
That combination, she says, opened multiple fronts to tackle at once. Running a business is hard for any woman with children — and in the early years she was responsible for almost everything at Ezymigrate, playing many roles at the same time while raising two kids she is determined to help become responsible, kind and confident.
Immigration itself can be crushing for your sense of identity and belonging. Working through that is part of what grounds her — in her own words, she is “more me, as a New Zealander, than I was ever before.”
“Greatness lies in genuine service. I aim to turn Ezymigrate into a world-leading immigration system — and I expect nothing less of myself.”Founder, Ezymigrate
